Assam Circle GDS to Postman Result 2024: The Assam Postal Circle has released the Competitive Examination (LDCE) result for the recruitment of Postman & Mail Guard from GDS/MTS in Assam Circle on 30.10.2024. • Tiebreaker Criteria: Where the candidates have the same marks in combined Paper-I and Paper-II, inter-se merit was decided as per the Postal Directorate guidelines from 2020.

Selection results must ensure that controlling authorities forthwith issue posting orders on these selected candidates. Corresponding appointment authorities will effect or complete promotion or appointment orders by 8th November 2024 so all selected candidates may start and officially join their new stations; a final joining status will be submitted on 12th November 2024.

Acceptance or Rejection: An applicant shall accept or decline an appointment by a letter of acceptance within one week of issue, and if there is no such letter then the position shall be regarded as declined and passed to the next eligible candidate.

Eligibility Verification and Terms for Appointments

The Assam Circle holds that verification as regards each applicant shall be appropriate. The appointing authority shall verify eligibility from:

• Qualifications (Academic)

• Continues Service Years
